For years and years the so called "hotbed" of recruiting has been border states such as California, Texas, and Florida. In recent years (IMO), the northeast region and particularly Philadelphia region of the country has produced some very top notch talent on a national level. There are more out there, but just off the top of my head you've got Minnesota Vikings DT, Shariff Floyd, or Atlanta Falcons QB, Matt Ryan to name a couple. Plus, recruiting year after recruiting year for the past couple years, PA has had outstanding players dominating in the college ranks or at the very least playing prominent roles at big time schools.
So...here is my question: Considering the amount of talent represented in the college ranks and in the NFL from the Pennsylvania region. Why is it that other than a sprinkle here or there, none of the exceptional talent is gets selected to play at national showcases?
Examples: Take a look at the 2013 & 2014 Army All-American Game and Under Armour Rosters. Together these games had about 5 PA players represented and that's out of 200 players. I won't even get started on the lack of players from the cities! This is preposterous!
See for yourself

So with all of that being said:
1. Does PA not have ballers on an "All American" level?
2. Has politics completely ruined the selection process?
3. Why aren't PA coaches up in arms about the lack of PA representation?
If someone has the answer to this very complex question, please enlighten us all?
